Walk For PKD

Help Krista raise money for this year's PKD (Polycystic kidney disease) Walk. Every little bit helps. Krista also plays/played in multiple bands including Zombie Dogs and Carnal Knowledge.

Donations are done through credit cards but if you have a paypal, you can donate to IYMI and I'll forward your money at the end of the week to Krista's account.

Since being diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease in 2006, I've put all my efforts into raising funds for the annual Walk for PKD so that people like myself, my father, my brother, and everyone else affected with this disease can hope for a healthier future.

As a person living with an incurable, life-threatening disease like PKD, I feel a great sense of purpose in raising money for this otherwise underfunded disease. Learning that I have this disease has greatly impacted my life as well as the lives of my family and friends, and I hope that you'll join me in taking steps towards ending this disease!

Some information on PKD from the PKD Foundation:

Polycystic kidney disease is one of the most common life-threatening genetic diseases, affecting more people than Down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy and sickle cell anemia - combined. Currently there is no treatment and no cure... But there is hope.
