I originally saw this band when they were called Castles about a year ago, and they blew me away with how tight they were. If you like this you should get their record "Only Way to Be Alone", which has a song with Dave Davison of Maps and Atlases on it.

Dumps Luck sounds like a gravelly version of what once was pop punk like if someone took a CD of a pop punk band and then backed over it with a pick up truck. I was able to hang out with the GGA lads while they were on tour with good buddies Lemuria. They were all crammed into one van, and I'm surprised the 6 of them made it out alive. I'm a big fan of Russ' guitar playing in this band, especially his strumming style.

The first thing that I loved about this record was the fact that it's a full length. There are very few records on this site that even make it past 4 songs.

Let me just remark that Vietnam Werewolf is an amazing band name. Incredible even. I first found out about TCK through a compilation for 1919 Hemphill, an awesome venue in Ft. Worth, TX. We tried to work out a Pink Couch a couple of times, but something always came up. Luckily we were able to remedy that on their recent trip to Brooklyn.

This is the 9 song demo for God Mode. Formed by four gentlemen getting on in their twenties who missed the energy and passion in the hardcore landscape that they grew up in (late 90's early 2000's) in the New York Tri-State Area.
The band's name is a reference to the code "IDDQD" in Doom 2, a DOS based PC game.
God Mode is a bare-bones hardcore band. Not like one of those "Dell" sponsored hardcore bands with all their bloatware...
