  • I'm new here. I've been following the site for a while and figured i should join the forum.

    It's no secret that there are tons of music blogs out there. Which ones do you follow/run? I help run ohnoimlateforschool.blogspot.com/ in my spare time.

  • I run a little site called Basic Text http://writinginbasic.co.uk, I try to review as much stuff as possible with the help of a few friends and do a monthly podcast of music to try and get smaller bands a bit more recognition. It'd be nice if you had a look, I can't really gauge as to whether it's going well or not!

    Sound as Language (http://www.soundaslanguage.com) is a good one along with fellow UK site Collective Zine (http://www.collective-zine.co.uk).

  • i don't know who runs it, but there's an awesome blog called Region Rock & More that has mp3 files of lots of out of print/impossible to find records from old "region rock" bands (melodic southern punk rock, though not everything on there is necessarily from the south) there's stuff from Jack Palance Band, Rice Harvester, ADD/C, The Stun Guns, Hello Shitty People, Queerwulf, Los Canadians, Ye Olde Buttfuck, The Grumpies and a lot more. really really great stuff. i'd be willing to bet ya'll would find at least one new favorite band on there.

I post music to stream every now and again and if you shuffle through you can find it along with interviews but I mainly stick to posting photos, show listings, and writing reviews and features.
