Slingshot Dakota-Waiting Room
This is such a fun cover. It's ridiculous and yet works so well. Truly
independent musicians covering truly independent legends.

Bridge And Tunnel-Call to the Comptroller
This band couldn't be any better - it's totally impossible. This happens to be their best song and done in a magnificent manner. The world begs for a Pink Couch EP from these guys.

Good Luck-Bringing Them Back To Life
Unshockingly, I love this. I love Ginger, I love Good Luck, I love
this song. It's so unassuming and yet so powerful.

Iron Chic-Demo
These guys are doing it the right way. They are taking all their Long Island punk roots and making it all grown up. I love the vocal styling that (intentionally?) apes Avoid One Thing and the step towards dirty old man punk rock. All their newer stuff is rad, too. Stoked to have these guys around.

Good Luck-1001 Open Hands
Two entries, one band - I don't care! I'm surprised the camera didn't explode trying to capture this song.

Andrew Jackson Jihad-A Song In Memory Of Stormy The Rabbit
Andrew Jackson Jihad isn't quite known for their "epic" qualities. However, on the Asian Man Tour they enlisted Bomb The Music Industry's gang of fools to help them create the most amazing version of the rabbit song.

Lemuria-Pants
Best song on "Get Better"? Yes. Sheena's voice is spot-on perfect here - I'm surprised that it's not overdubbed in post-production.

Bridge And Tunnel-Rubrics
As someone in the education field striving to teach in an equitable and responsive way this song hits home for me, in a hard way. Thank god we've got an intelligent, aggressive and socially conscious band again.

If You Make It is probably the best website in the whole DIY scene right now. It offers up a fantastic aesthetic, great original content and is an exemplar of the ethic that we only wish more bands have. Davey also seems to know every freaking band on the face the planet. I'm super stoked to get to list my favorites, especially since I listen to copies of all of them on a regular basis.
