Ramsey Beyer-An Evening with Evan Weiss

An Evening with Evan Weiss

Posted in Comics on November 29th, 2011

A German music magazine called "Visions" approached me about writing a comic that explains the Into It. Over It. song called "An Evening with Ramsey Beyer", which showed up on Evan's new record, Proper. They're running it next to an interview with Evan. Maybe this doesn't explain that song (you would have to ask Evan for an explanation for that)...

Kings of the Beach

Posted in Comics on August 4th, 2011

Summer is a game changer when it comes to music. My normal rotation gets replaced with a playlist consisting solely of pop punk, surf songs, hip hop and radio jammerz. With that said, this comic is referring to the new Wavves album, King of the Beach. On the whole, this record doesn't blow me away or anything, but on a...

Can't Bro Down

For most of my childhood, I played musical instruments. I took piano lessons for 11 years, guitar lessons for four years, and embarrassingly enough, played trombone in the school band during my awkward middle school years. Despite this, I've never been "good" at music. I could read music and play it, but could never think of parts on my own....

The Fest 9

Posted in Comics on November 28th, 2010

I've never really been a music fest person, and THE Fest has never been an exception. This year, however, my friend convinced me to head down to Florida on a whim. I'm glad I did! It was a rad weekend of good hang outs, good food, and good eats. The perfect impromptu trip, the stuff that legends are made of......
