Iron Chic is melodic in the same way Latterman are but, add Lubrano's dynamic-as-shit vocals, and you've got an unstoppable force on your hands. Complete with "whoa-oh"s and songs about parking lots, Iron Chic is sometimes unabashedly nostalgic while other times, they're more apt to say "fuck that: let's do something cool today." This year's Fest was great because one venue, the Kickstand, was all buddy bands, plus is was all ages. Iron Chic played the first day, and the room was packed. Featuring members of Latterman, Jonesin, and Small Arms Dealer. The "ungh" you hear in the beginning is from Mike Vlad. You can download their 5 song demo at their website which is linked below.
Following up their 4 song demo, Shitty Rambo expands on the Iron Chic sound, embracing a perfect split of Latterman's hopefulness, and Small Arms Dealer's pessimism. These are the kind of songs that you need to sing along too, while the melodies bury themselves into your skull.
You can get their 4 song demo from IYMI.
