I have a short list of people who I believe are going to lose their voices prematurely. Witnessing Stolen Parts live is like having a VIP seat at the Gruff-Whispery Olympics. In the blue corner you have Ryan Seagrist, member of Florida's Monikers, who brings his own brand of mid-tempo pop punk to the table. His vocals on "Anonymous" and and "You Don't Know" help push the song, while keeping your head bobbing. In the red corner we have Josh Jordan of Off With Their Heads fame. Jordan's vocals on "Wonder" and "Between Planets" are slower and more anthemic in nature, perfectly balancing out this great record.
Despite the vocal pains they will be in, we are lucky enough to have them come together on this 7inch/download. Pat Schramm of Bridge & Tunnel steps behind the drums on this, along with Rob Sunderman on bass. Phil Douglass recorded it.
As you can tell, I just copied my awful recommendation over to the Albums section. Still, if you like this record, do not hesitate to buy the real thing from Kiss of Death. You can buy the record from the KOD records store at I Heart U.
The turtle-rabbit was made by the talented Jeff Finley.
