Blank States was a direct result to the break ups of Wormburner and Victor! Fix The Sun. We threw around the idea for months before finally getting together with Brent from the band Ambassador. It's kind of a play as you can system, sometimes with months between practices, but that's kind of what makes it consistently new and fun. A perfect outlet from everyone's other projects. Ryan does Jowls (Doghouse), Brent does Between Brains, and Kevin's got a band with Alex from Wormburner, John from Shores, and Lance from Empty Orchestra.
